Autumn in East Texas not only brings cooler temperatures, beautiful colors and football season, it brings waterfowl by the thousands to our reservoirs. Duck hunting on Lake Fork and Lake Tawakoni can be as good as anywhere in the country. From mallards and pintails to canvasback and hooded mergansers, this area brings ducks of just about every kind. Wild Hogs


East Texas has a tremendous population of wild hogs which are fun to hunt as well and being great on the table. These animals can be hunted all year and rates are very reasonable. Most hogs weigh between 100 and 200 pounds but can reach weights in excess of 500 pounds. Call for rates.

Pheasant/Chucker/Quail


Why not add some bird hunting to your next trip to Lake Fork Lodge? We can arrange a fantastic upland game shoot at a farm that is within 4 miles of the Lodge. Rates are reasonable and availability is good with advance notice. If you’ve never experienced one of these hunts you need to try it on your next visit to Lake Fork. Call for Rates.

Trophy Deer


We have a limited number of spots left for our annual Kansas Trophy Deer Hunt. This area has virtually no hunting pressure and has produced deer up to 238” in the past. We have a 140” minimum and meals and lodging are included. Applications and reservations must be made by April 30 each year. Call for rates.
